7 Windows 10 Tweaks: –

1). Use Disk Cleanup to Delete Temporary File and Folder

This is the recommended Windows 10 tweaks. Every task and activity we are performing in Windows 10, some temporary files and folder create in background. With time passes, these files will increase in size according to your task and activity, and it takes lots of space that makes your Windows drive red.

Now it is very necessary that the window drive should have enough free space for the normal operations and the windows quality update for better performance of the system. If the system drive is critically in low on free space and it makes your computer system slow. And it takes lots of time and money too.

So, to get rid of these low on free space crisis in Windows 10, you have to regularly delete your temporary file by the end of the day or any time you want.

Now, follow these steps to clean your temporary file.

There are two methods you can employ to delete your temporary file permanently. The first is using Disk Cleanup, and the second is by directly accessing the Temporary Folder to delete temporary files.

Method 1: – Steps for Disc Cleanup:

1.) Open your computer system and click the Windows icon.

2.)Type Disc Cleanup Up, select the result and hit enter.

3.) Choose C drive to scan the temporary files in it.

4.) Check and Uncheck the option you want to delete and Hit Ok.

Method 2: Directly access the temporary files in C drive

  1. Open your computer system and click ok on the Windows icon.
  2. Now type %temp% up in the search bar and click the %temp% folder.
  3. Select all the files that are in it and delete it.



2). Disable Programs That Run On Startup

It is also a big cause for a slow PC. The more software and program you install in your computer system the more chance for a slow PC. Because add themselves to your good process for various region auto-update being one of the main ones and it makes your PC slow.

Now, to disable the startup, apps follow the steps.

Step 1: – Right-click on an empty area of the Taskbar and select Task Manager.

Step 2: Click on the Startup Tab and you will see there is a list of a program that is enabled to run in during startup. Right click on it and select Disable.

3). Troubleshoot The Program

If any component of your device like any hardware is not working well, then running a troubleshooter may also find and fix the problem for you.

To start a troubleshooter to fix the problem follow these steps.

  1. Start your window and type troubleshoot and select Troubleshoot Settings from the result.
  2. You will see a list of hardware components. Select those components they are not working well and click Run The Troubleshooter.
  3. Troubleshoot start detecting the problem and give you a solution to fix it.

4). Disable visual Effects, Animations, and Shadows

Windows 10 offers some visual effect animations and Shadows features and it can be disabled to improve performance. To disable the animations and visual effects in Windows follow these steps.

  1. Click Windows 10 search box and type sysdm.cpl and hit enter.
  2. The system properties dialogue box will come up. Click on Advanced tab and click Settings in the Performance section.
  3. In the Visual Effects tab, you will see a list of animations and special effects. Uncheck those that have the greatest effect on your system performance.

5). Enable Dark Mode

It is also a feature of Windows 10. Dark themes are becoming more popular this year. Most of the apps had been adopted this “A must-have feature”.  This makes apps and websites look cool and more beautiful. Dark mode reduces eye strain, improve your sleep.

Now, how to enable the dark theme for File Explorer follows the steps.

  1. Click the start icon in Windows 10 and then click the settings.
  2. Head to the Personalization and had to the Colors options.
  3. Click “Choose Your Default App Mode” option and select the Dark option.

6). Update Windows 10 Device Drivers

One of the main reasons for the poor performance of your Windows 10 system is “Do Not have Updated Windows 10 device driver. You should always check the manufacturer’s website for the latest driver to avoid any performance-related issue into the system.

  1. Right click on the desktop and create a new folder.
  2. Rename the folder with GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} (remember “period” must be there, after GodMode).
  3. Now, open the GodMode folder and access over 260 commands. It includes every setting that we are doing in Windows from the administrative tool to back up tools and other important options.
