ZTE Axon 10s Pro has not yet been officially presented through an event, but it is as if it had been seen on the Chinese house’s website: on the page we can find images, such as the one on the cover, and technical characteristics, among which it stands out without a doubt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. ZTE Axon 10s Pro should have been presented at MWC 2020, which will be held in that of Barcelona in a few weeks: unfortunately the Chinese house seems to have decided to skip this year’s edition due to the problems related to Coronavirus, so maybe there we will have to “settle” for the details released on the official website (at least for now).
Technical characteristics of the ZTE Axon 10s Pro
ZTE Axon 10s Pro can count on a 6.47-inch 19.5: 9 AMOLED display at Full-HD + resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), with a small drop notch that helps to reduce the frames. 92% of the front space is occupied by the screen, which integrates a fingerprint sensor.
However, the presence of the brand new SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 at 7 nm (with Adreno 650 GPU), the most powerful chipset produced by the Californian house and arriving on the main flagships of 2020, is arousing more interest. The “heart” of ZTE Axon 10s Pro is accompanied by 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 memory, not expandable (no microSD slot).
The photographic sector sees the presence of a triple rear camera and a single front: on the back are the 48 MP main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture, an ultra-wide one with a 125 ° field of view lens and f / 2.2 aperture and an 8 MP telephoto camera with f / 2.4 aperture; in front, in the “gotch” the 20 MP camera with f / 2.0 aperture stands out.
We then find connectivity 5G SA / NSA , 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2 x 2MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS / Beidou / Galileo, brightness sensors, geomagnetic, accelerometer, gyroscope and Hall, in addition to dual speakers with support for DTS X Ultra. The 4000 mAh battery closes the data sheet , with Quick Charge 4+ fast charging support, while the port for the 3.5 mm audio jack is missing.

Unfortunately, the site reports the presence of Android 9 Pie with MiFavor 10 OS , but it could be a trivial error since we have already seen how this customization is usually accompanied by Android 10 (and the name suggests it).
The software developed by ZTE can count on several pre-installed applications, dark mode, functions designed for gaming and greater lightness compared to previous versions (according to the statements of the Chinese company). Thanks to Artificial Intelligence and the Z-Booster 2.0 function, ZTE promises greater speed in the daily use of the smartphone, as well as greater energy efficiency.
Design and images of the ZTE Axon 10s Pro
As anticipated, 92% of the front surface of the ZTE Axon 10s Pro is occupied by the display, which also integrates the fingerprint sensor. Staying on the front, one cannot fail to notice the small drop-shaped notch in the center and the curved glass on the sides (“edge”). On the back the vertical “Axon 5G” logo and the three photographic lenses stand out, accompanied by the LED flash.
ZTE Axon 10s Pro should arrive in White, Black and Ocher colors. The declared dimensions are 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm.
