Two new Vivo’s 5G smartphones with 8 GB RAM and 12 GB RAM listed on Geekbench

Vivo is preparing to launch the new V19 series of smartphones, which include Vivo V19 and Vivo V19 Pro. These devices are coming on March 3 in India. However, it is almost three weeks from now. Amidst all this news, there is also a new info about Vivo’s two new 5G phone as well. As per the info, it seems that the Chinese firm Vivo is working on its new 5G phones. Two new Vivo’s smartphones with the model number Vivo PD1602 and Vivo PD1728 have been listed on the Chinese benchmarking site Geekbench. The listing reveals some key specifications of these smartphones.

These two phones with the model numbers Vivo PD1602 and Vivo PD1728 are listed on the website on 12 February. The specifications of the smartphones which we are getting from the listing, one thing must be sure that these will come in flagship segment.

Vivo PD1602

Talking about the specs of the Vivo PD 1602, Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone will be loaded with the latest Android 10 OS. The phone will have an octa-core processor with 1.80 GHz clock speed. The motherboard of the phone has given the name ‘Kona’. Significantly, this is the codename of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset. Hence, it also becomes clear that Vivo PD1602 will be launched with 5G connectivity support. The listed model has 8 GB RAM in the phone.

Talking about the Geekbench score, Vivo PD1602 has scored 928 score in single-core while in multi-core, this phone has got 3377 score.

Vivo PD1728

Moving on to the Vivo PD1728, a 12 GB RAM model is listed on the Geekbench. According to the listing, this phone will also be running on the latest Android OS 10. The phone will have an 1.80 GHz clock speed octa-core processor which is the same as Vivo PD1602. Here also the same ‘Kona’ motherboard name is mentioned in the listing. So it is also clear that Vivo PD1728 will have the same Snapdragon 865 chipset that supports Qualcomm’s 5G connectivity.

The Vivo PD1728 has been given 926 score in single-core and this phone has got 3405 score in multi-core.

At the time, we have only this piece of information about these two phone. So, nothing can be said about how long these smartphones will take to come into the market. Hence, we should wait for the company official announcement about the phones.
