CPU Performance

Talking about the CPU performance of SoCs, the Snapdragon 720G is an octa-core CPU in which all 8 cores are divided into two clusters. The CPU is relatively new and the design of Snapdragon 720G is based on Kryo 465. The snapdragon 720G has two high performance cores of Cortex A76 and clocked at 2.3GHz and six power efficient cores based on Cortex A55 and clocked at 1.8GHz.

In Snapdragon 730G, it also has the dual cluster design similar to snapdragon 720G. The CPU has two high performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six power efficient Cortex-A55 cores clockedd 1.8GHz. Here, the Snapdragon 720G has 5% higher CPU clock speed than the Snapdragon 730G. However, the SD 730G uses Kryo 470 CPU design, which is slightly better than the Kryo 465 in SD 720G.

The Snapdragon 765G has different cluster design than the other SoCs in the list. The SD 765G is an octa-core CPU, and all eight cores are divided into three clusters. The CPU has one high performance Cortex A76 core clocked at 2.4GHz, one medium performance Cortex A76 core clocked at 2.2GHz and four power efficient Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

Now come to the MediaTek Helio G90T. The Helio G90T is an octa-core CPU in all 8 cores are divided into two clusters. Yeah, off course, similar to SD 720G and SD 730G. The Helio G90T has two high performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz.

Comparing the CPU specs of all these SoCs, the Snapdragon 765G top the list. Both SD 720G and SD 730G have almost similar features. But here SD 720G is relatively new and come second in the list with 5% higher CPU clock speed than SD 730G. So, Snapdragon comes third in the list. MediaTek Helio G90T also has very good CPU features, but slightly lower clock speed of high performance core make it to come in last position.
