Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will have a camera under the display, might be launched in July

After introducing two foldable smartphone into the market, it seems that Samsung has decided to focus more folding devices with the aim of becoming the leading company in this special category. Samsung had launched Samsung Galaxy Fold device which was the first foldable smartphone and recently company has introduced the second foldable smartphone as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. However, both smartphones have the different folding nature. From the long time it has been said that Korean company is working on another folding phone that could be called as Samsung Galaxy Fold 2.

However, it is not certain that this will be the official name which manufacture can choose for its next folding device. It can also be introduced as the Galaxy Z Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, or something entirely new.

The alleged specs of the new Samsung foldable 

In spite of the full specs for the device, a piece of information we have available at the moment. The smartphone could be represented by the code name, ie “Project Champ” and will have a form factor similar to first foldable from the company Galaxy Fold. According to the reports, the new device will have a 7.7-inch foldable display.

However, the feature that is interesting to see is a front camera under the display which will give even more immersive experience to the users. The Samsung team would be testing a solution that includes a front camera positioned under the display.

Among the other features of the next giant smartphone of the Korean giant we should find an improved design, Ultra Thin Glass technology, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and or Samsung Exynos 990.

For its official launch (and to find out the price) we will probably have to wait until July.
