Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing was confirmed Redmi Note 8 on Chinese blog portal Weibo. He said that Note 8 will be the company’s first phone that will feature a 64MP rear camera. Reports also claim that it will come with a waterdrop notch. However, there are also some other companies including Realme and Samsung which have a plan to launch its phones with 64MP camera feature. It will have the new MediaTek Helio G90T processor under its hood. He also assured everyone that there will be enough stocking of this smartphone.

Now, Some real images of the Redmi 8A and Redmi Note 8 surfaced online portal @Slashleaks. However, the images of Note 8 do not show much information but it reveals some of its specs.

These side images clearly indicate that the quad-rear camera setup at the back panel. At the bottom of the phone, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C interface, and the speaker of the phones. Configuration for the SIM slot and Memory Card are set at the left side of this smartphone. Besides these and the very smooth/rounded edges, these images show nothing else.

A few days back, two new devices from Redmi listed on 3C website for the with model number M1908C3IE and M1908C3IC variants. It is said that the phone could be equipped with MDY-09-EK charger, that supports only up to 10W charging.

Yesterday, a new Redmi device with the same model number M1908C3IC appeared on TENAA. The phone has a waterdrop display, a dual rear camera, and a fingerprint sensor at the back with Redmi logo.

Now, as the Redmi Note 8, the real images of the upcoming Redmi 8A also leaked @slashleaks. The leaked images reveal that it has a dual rear camera, LED flash and rear fingerprint sensor in vertical alignment as it was shown on TENNA. There is also the Redmi logo in front and rear just as the TENAA image.

From this mage, we now know that we will have a dark red version of the Redmi 8A. However, this smartphone could also be Redmi 8. According to the images shown, this smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone is powering by a Snapdragon 439 SoC as well as a 5000 mAh battery. There is still no confirmation whether it will use a 64MP rear lens or not.
