Realme X50 5G spotted on CMIIT, may launch on January 5th

There has been a lot of discussion over the past that Realme is working on a new smartphone Realme X50 5G. Realme X50 will be the first smartphone from the company to come with 5G support. However the company has not announced anything about the phone yet. But a new smartphone with a model number RMX2051 has been approved by the CMIIT authority of China. The cerfication reveals that the new device with support 5G connectivity. Now, it is being speculated that the RMX2051 5G phone could be Realme X50 5G as the company is teasing it from past few weeks. However there is not much information in this certification but it is rumored to have a Snapdragon 765G chipset inside the device.

Recently, Realme Product Director Wan Wei Derek also revealed on Weibo that the X50 5G supports 5G frequency bands such as n1, n41, n78 and n79 in China. Thee are the mainstream 5G frequencies that have been commercialized in China and that will be used in the year 2020.

Realme X50 5G Specifications (Rumored)

According to some recent reports, the X50 5G will get a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display. This phone will have a display with dual front-facing cameras as per the teaser poster released last month. The device will be the first smartphone from the company to launch with SD765G SoC. Because of this chipset, the device will support dual-mode 5G on the device.

As per rumored, X50 5G wil have a 64-megapixel main lens in its rear panel. It  is still to confirm that it is a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel lens or not. There is no info about the battery capacity of the phone but it is expected to carry support for 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology.

Realme X50 5G Launch Date

Realme CMO Xu Qi released the teaser which indicates that Realme X50 5G will be official on January 5th of the next year. The company may give an official confirmation in upcoming few days.

It seems like a worthy competitor for Redmi K30 5G phone that will hit the Chinese markets by Jan. 15.
