Realme 5 and Realme 5s start receiving latest update with December 2019 security patch

Realme 5 and Realme 5s have received new software updates. It brings with it the Android security patch of December 2019. Updates brought for both phones remove old deficiencies and improve performance. We will suggest you to download this update as soon as you get the notification. The version number of the update released for Realme 5 and Realme 5S is RMX1911EX_11_A.23. Reality 5 was brought to India in August last year. After this, Realme 5S was brought to India in November.

Realme gave information about bringing updates for Realme 5 and Realme 5s smartphones on its forum. As we told you earlier, this update brings with it the security patch of December 2019. Some drawbacks are overcome and system stability is improved. Realme has stated that this is an OTA update, it will be rolled out on a phase basis. That is, it takes some time for the update to reach every device.

The company has reported, “Over the air has just been rolled out for select users. With no shortage, it will be gradually released on every smartphone in the coming days. ”

If you have not received the notification, then you can check it manually by going to Settings. We would suggest you to download the update over Wi-Fi connection. Users can download it and install it through simple mode or recovery mode.
