Poco X2 got its first update with January Security Patch, fixes camera app crashing, image processing improved

Poco X2 has recently launched in India and here the first update for the device. The smartphone was launched on MIUI 11 custom skin that is based on Android 10. The pre-installed software has an MIUI 11.0.3.0.QGHINXM version number, and now the new update is also arrived.

The latest software update comes with an MIUI 11.0.4.0.QGHINXM version number, which brings a couple of camera improvements and improvement to the image processing in Poco X2. This update fixes a bug because of which the camera app crashes when in PRO mode.

Apart from a couple of camera improvements, the update also comes with a new Android security patch for the month of January 2020. Below is a changelog summary for the first Poco X2 update.

A few days ago, Xiaomi spins off the Poco as an independent brand and Poco X2 is the first smartphone from the company.

Looking on the specs of the company’s first phone, Snapdragon 730G chipset is powering the device which is also oe of the best SoCs for the mid-range smartphone nowadays. In the photography department, the smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup in which a 64MP works as the main shooter. This main lens is joined by a 8MP ultrawide sensor + a 2MP macro + a 2MP depth-sensing units. On the front, the phone has a dual-lens shooter with 20MP and 2MP units.

Moving on to the price, the base of Poco X2 is priced at INR 15,999 for the 6/64GB model in the Indian market. For the 6/128GB model, you have to spend INR 1,000 more that is INR 16999. The can get its high-end 8/256GB variant in INR 19,999.
