One of the biggest new features in this update is the ability to engage in cross-platform play in Private Matches, Casual Matchmaking, and Ranked Matchmaking. This means that players on different platforms can now compete against each other, regardless of whether they’re playing on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or PC (Steam). Crossplay is automatically enabled on PC, but can be toggled on and off on PlayStation, and disabled on Xbox by changing system settings.

Cross-platform Play In Private Matches

With crossplay enabled, players can test their skills against friends and rivals from all over the world. Whether you’re looking to prove your dominance on the course or just want to have a good time with your buddies, this new feature will help take your gameplay to the next level.

Ranked Matchmaking

For those who are looking for a more serious challenge, the update also introduces Ranked matchmaking. This feature lets players join competitive rounds and climb experience tiers, allowing them to prove their worth as top virtual golfers. Ranked play is divided into six tiers, each with its own set of divisions and a unique icon and color to denote your rank.

To ensure a level playing field, all Ranked matches have Pro difficulty turned on, and players are limited to their MyPLAYER creation. Duos are Alternate Shot, while Solo is regular match play. Players can track their progress and see how they stack up against others by checking the dedicated Solo and Duo leaderboards.

With all of these exciting new features, there’s never been a better time to play PGA Tour 2K23. So, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, grab your clubs and get ready to hit the links!
