Steps: –

1). First, open your Microsoft PowerPoint and add your slide In which you want to to add your recording.

2). Click on Insert tab and then Click Screen Recording at the upper right corner of the ribbon.

3). Now a dock will appear in which you can see many options click Select Area option. You should know that by default PowerPoint it will record audio you can switch off it by toggle these option with your cursor if you want. When it is done click Select Area.

4). Now a crosshairs tool appears, click and drag it to the portion of your screen that you want to record.

5). Click Record and then the 3-second countdown will start. After this countdown screen recording will start and when you’re done with it click to Stop button.

The recorded portion of your screen will now appear in your PowerPoint slide.

You can also save this recording to your computer if you want. Right-click on the video and select Save Media As. Then a dialogue box will appear And ask ok you to choose name and file location. Enter your file name and location and click Save.
