At first, It may be possible that many of you are not aware that you can also record your screen with Microsoft PowerPoint. For recording your screen, I think, many of you are not familiar with it and might be possible that you are looking for a third party App for it.

Record Your Screen With PowerPoint

Steps: –

1). First, open your Microsoft PowerPoint and add your slide In which you want to to add your recording.

2). Click on Insert tab and then Click Screen Recording at the upper right corner of the ribbon.

3). Now a dock will appear in which you can see many options click Select Area option. You should know that by default PowerPoint it will record audio you can switch off it by toggle these option with your cursor if you want. When it is done click Select Area.

4). Now a crosshairs tool appears, click and drag it to the portion of your screen that you want to record.

5). Click Record and then the 3-second countdown will start. After this countdown screen recording will start and when you’re done with it click to Stop button.

The recorded portion of your screen will now appear in your PowerPoint slide.

You can also save this recording to your computer if you want. Right-click on the video and select Save Media As. Then a dialogue box will appear And ask ok you to choose name and file location. Enter your file name and location and click Save.

You can also customize this recording In the PowerPoint a little bit if you want like Trim, Make the style, etc.

Information: - This feature only works on an updated version of Microsoft Powerpoint 2013 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2016.
