While playing the game on high or ultra graphic settings, the screen distorts whenever there’s an explosion, such as when EPC or Exploder, etc. However, reducing the effects of explosions fixes this issue by removing other fancy visual effects. Solution 1: Go to Engine.ini File

  • DRG Right click -> Manage -> Browse local files -> FSD/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/Engine.ini

    r.DisableDistortion=1

Save and Close the File

  • Texture Resolution: High
  • Shadow Quality: Low
  • Anti-Aliasing Quality: Low
  • Post Processing: Low
  • Effects: High
  • View Distance: High

Leave HDR Output as it is.

After save and close it, Start DRG and set effects to high/ultra. Check the top of the drop pod in Space Rig. If there’s no screen distortion, you’re done!
