Recently, many specifications about iPhone SE 2 and the iPhone SE 2 plus had also come into the light. Now some more news about the SE 2 series has been come out. The launch date of iPhone SE 2 series has also been revealed online. According to the news, Apple may release its new cheaper version of iPhone in the next month on March 31.
The news about the launch date of the Apple iPhone SE 2 Series has been revealed by a German website called “iphone-ticker.de“. The website revealed that Apple is gearing up to launch its new iPhone SE 2 series with a low-price on the global platform on March 31. As per the website reports, these iPhones will be going on sale in the international market from 3 April. However, the naming of these devices are still in question. These upcoming cheapest smartphone could be named as iPhone SE 2 and iPhone SE 2 Plus. But some reports also suggest that its name could be iPhone 9 series as well. So, we have to wait now for the official announcement for the series.
iPhone SE 2 feaures
Now moving on to the specification of the iPhone SE 2. The upcoming iPhone SE 2 will be featured with a 5.4-inch display. To recall, the screen size will be similar to last year launched iPhone 8 smartphone. According to some leaked reports, the upcoming iPhone SE 2 will also have a Face ID and 3D Touch support in the phone which is not been seen in this series of phones.
As per the info, Apple will use an A13 processor for the iPhone SE 2. To recall, all the latest iPhone 11 series phones including iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have this chipset inside the body. According to the leak, Apple will release a 3GB LPDDR4X RAM model of the iPhone SE 2. There will be two variants of this phone: 64GB storage and 128GB storage model.
The device will also have better network support. With the use of LCP Antenna in iPhone SE2, the phone’s network and frequency capacity will increase by 5.1 decibels. To store the power of the phone, there can be a 5W charger with the phone. The company will come up three color variants of the device: deep gray, white and red color. The pricing of iPhone SE2 would be around at $399 US dollars (approx Rs 28,000).
iPhone SE 2 Plus expected features
As per the recent reports, iPhone SE 2 Plus will be featured with an LCD display. This would be in between around 5.5 inches to 6.1 inches. iPhone SE 2 Plus full screen design similar to the Apple iPhone X. However, this phone might not have Face ID feature. The device should have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
These specs are not confirmed officially, so for now we should wait for the official statement from the company.
