According to report from officials @NintendoEurope twitter handle, Animal Crossing New Horizons patch update version 1.1.0 is now available for preload ahead of launch. But at the time it is not for everyone. This game will be launch on Friday 20th March and if you are making a plan to buy this game on this date or after, you will be able to update normally when you load it up for the first time. But if you are among those people who have already pre- downloaded Animal Crossing New Horizons digitally through Nintendo eShop, will be the first to get the update version 1.1.0 ahead of launch. The console will automatically download it if you have Automatic Downloads activated.
There is no patch notes available at the time so we do not know the changes. However, it does not matter that you have got version 1.1.0 update first, you still not be able to play the game till 20th march launch date.
To recall, last month’s Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct had told us about the first free updates planned for the game and 20th March is day when it will be happen. It will be introduced as a Bunny Day event and special items for both New Horizons and Pocket Camp.
The first free update will be on launch day, March 20. By installing this update, you can celebrate Bunny Day with a special event in April. If you own both Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for mobile devices and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll receive special items in each game.
The Ver 1.1.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be available ahead of launch, starting at 2am CET on 19/03. If you’ve preloaded the game from #eShop, the update should start downloading automatically. #ACNH
